    Description:

    Ultra-low VOC member of the Carbozinc family with extraordinary performance characteristics. Carbozinc 11 HSN combines unparalleled performance properties with a 2.4 lbs/gallon (unthinned) and 2.7 lbs/gallon (thinned) formulation that meets even the most stringent VOC restrictions. This primer is nuclear-qualified and suitable for use as a primer for steel substrates in Level 1 containment exposures under specific design criteria. Determine applicability prior to use.

    Description:

Carbozinc 11 VOC is simply a lower VOC version of the original Carbozinc 11 with VOC of 389 g/l as supplied.

    Description:

    Carbozinc 11 WB is a water-based inorganic zinc rich primer that protects steel galvanically, eliminating subfilm corrosion. It meets VOC regulations while providing the proven performance of silicate zinc rich technology. It may be used as a primer under many different types of topcoats.

    Description:

    Carbozinc 18 WB is a fast drying, high zinc content, coating for steel substrates. It has outstanding performance in demanding corrosive environments. It self heals to continue protection when damaged. It provides cathodic sacrificial protection and thus prevents corrosion of the underlying steel, like galvanizing. It contains 90% zinc dust by weight in the dried film. This waterborne product has no VOC or flash point. Use in industrial, marine, and process environments.

    Description:

    Low VOC, zinc-rich epoxy primer for steel substrates that provides excellent corrosion resistance. Carbozinc 585 has very low VOC values, is low odor and easy to apply. It can be used in virtually all industrial markets.

    Description:

    This two-component, high build zinc-rich primer exhibits outstanding moisture tolerance during application, tolerance to marginal surface preparation, low temperature cure capability, and very fast cure time to speed up the painting process. It contains an inert flake reinforcement (micaceous iron oxide, MIO) to further enhance the coating's strength and performance. This coating is ideal for industrial and marine environments to provide galvanic corrosion protection for steel. It provides a Class B slip coefficient and an be applied as part of a two coat system instead of a typical three coat system of zinc primer, intermediate coat of epoxy, and finish coat of epoxy, polyurethane, etc. The labor, cure time, and materials required for the intermediate coat can be saved while providing similar or better dry film thickness and corrosion protection. Its fast cure properties makes it ideal for shop and field applications where quick throughput and turnaround times are desired.
