  • Accelerator A-20

    Description:

    Accelerator A-20 is a powder mixed with water and injected into gypsum based fireproofing materials to reduce the set time and increase production rates. Also, Accelerator A-20 can be injected into portland cement-based fireproofing materials to reduce the set time. Accelerator A-20 can be used with Southwest Type 5GP, 5MD and 7GP materials.

    Description:

    ADD-2 Mildewcide Additive is an effective fungicide which provides long-lasting protection against both mold & mildew in water-based, alkyd, and epoxy coatings. It is also acceptable to use in polyurethane finishes but is less effective due to the slower leach rate. Ideal for contractor use in interior and exterior coatings projects.


  • Additive 101

    Features:

    • Additive 101 accelerates polyurethane cure rates and shortens dry film formation time within a wide range of application temperatures. In general, dry times can be decreased from 25-40% depending on the ambient conditions and substrate temperature. With the use of Additive 101, select Carboline 133 & 134 series polyurethanes will continue to cure at temperatures as low as 20°F (-7°C). Refer to specific product cure times for guidance.

    Description:

    Additive 101 is an accelerator used to speed the cure of many solvent-based polyurethane coatings. It can be used in Carboline’s Carbothane Series finishes including the 133 and 134 Series products and Clear Coats. DO NOT USE with water-borne polyurethanes.

  • Additive 8505

    Features:

    • Additive 8505 accelerates atmospheric epoxy cure rates and shortens dry film formation time with a wide range of application temperatures. In general, dry times can be decreased from 25-40%, depending on the ambient conditions and substrate temperature. With the use of Additive 8505, select Carboguard products intended for atmospheric/non-immersion service will continue to cure at temperatures as low as 35 °F (2 °C); applicators shall be aware its use will also shorten pot life times by 40- 50%. Refer to product instructions and cure times for guidance.
